What can I say? This is one beautiful house for under $50,000?  This circa 1932 brick Tudor-style home reminds me of the homes my relatives have in England (my mother is from Tamworth in the Midlands). Notice the curved exterior entryways with stone detailing, and the vertical brick trim over the windows. Original small-pane windows, hardwood floors and extraordinary built-ins are the obvious standouts, but consider the cedar-lined closets, period lighting fixtures and bedroom window nooks. Don’t get me started on the great original kitchen cupboards and the black and white tiled bathroom!  Look, there’s a built-in soap dish and a corner sink with original porcelain hot and cold water knobs! And did I mention the house has three fireplaces? Check out the bedroom fireplace with brick detailing. Okay, so I’m not crazy about all the stuccoed walls and ceilings, but I think they are probably original to the house. With an updated heating system, updated electric panel, so many exquisite details and at an exquisite price of $49,900, I’m envious of the buyer who snags this one.
