History

The Yellowstone Coach Company started out in Wakarusa, Indiana, in 1945, expanded to SEbring, Florida, and remained in business until about 1990. They were known for their campers with aluminum bodies, an all-birch interiora, and residential-style appliances.

Although not as well known as Airstream and Spartan,  Yellowstone was a significant company in the RV market in the decades after WWII. The company was founded by Elmer Weaver and  initially focused on manufacturing small travel trailers. Oddly enough, its models were quite popular among carnival workers who lived in them full-time.
