209 N 8th St., Lansing, Michigan 48912
You have to take a close look at this Michigan fixer upper to appreciate all the original little details it has to offer. Built in 1906, the 3-bedroom, 2-bath American Foursquare home has a large yard on a pleasant street of older homes. You’ll notice that there are shutters all around. Inside, the staircase is lovely, with a diamond window on the landing. French doors lead into the sunroom and original doors and trim are throughout. The Palladian window in the attic brings in plenty of light, so a finished dormitory-style room up there would be perfect for a large family. What I love most is the tiled bathroom. The tub (with faucets on the sidewall) and black and white tiled floor are keepers.
