6 Sixth St., Gloversville, NY 12078
I have a hard time resisting a yellow house with white trim, especially a circa 1900 Victorian with its original gingerbread. This lovely 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home has a great front porch and a beautiful, original front door with stunning hardware. Wood floors, French doors, natural wood trim with bullseye molding, original 6-panel doors and a nice staircase grace the interior. The home is located in Gloversville in Fulton County in upstate New York. When we lived in Schoharie County years back, we’d pass through Gloversville on occasion. Once the hub of the glove making making industry, Gloversville has seen a decline in the last few decades.
