8 N MAIN, Hinckley UT 84635
You don’t find many wonderful old houses under $50,000 in the Beehive State of Utah, but this one’s a honey. This circa 1935 bungalow is situated in the rural town of Hinckley. a hamlet named after Ira Nathaniel Hinckley, grandfather of the late LDS President Gordon B. Hinckley and friend of Joseph Smith, Jr. Check out the lovely yard which is surrounded by a charming white picket fence and has views of the mountains in the distance. The interior features hardwood floors and great wainscoting in the living room that reminds me of my own living room paneling. Kitchen and bathroom (note the clawfoot tub) appear to need a considerable amount of work, but the home has some built-ins, a back deck and a front porch that look ready to roll.
