127 Park Ave., Seward, NY 12043

If you want to live in one of the most beautiful areas of New York State, then Schoharie County is the place. This circa 1860 Victorian is located in the small town of Seward, just a few miles from where I lived in Cobleskill, NY. The scenic beauty is beyond words. We almost bought an old Masonic Lodge in Seward for $12,000. It had fabulous tin ceilings and wood floors, but pigeons had taken it over. There was poop everywhere, and I my pregnant body wasn’t up to tackling that!
As far as this house goes, here’s what the realtor has to say, “This old Victorian is a diamond in the rough! Beautiful stained glass windows in almost every room. Pocket doors, original woodwork, beautiful staircase, built ins, hardwood floors, huge two story barn, all on a huge lot and quiet back street! The home needs new mechanicals and new roof, but the bones are all good and when finished, this house could be a show stopper! The home is be sold as is.”
