Family History
In the 1950s, it was the home of Earl Reitz, a pressman at the Post-Dispatch, who lost his right arm at the age of 34 in a work accident. As he lay in the hospital, he was presented with a trophy by the National Printcraft Bowlers League. Nice gesture, but now he can’t bowl nor do his job. I hope he received more compensation than that.

I wanna know what went on in the “Pussycat Club” in the basement…! …or maybe I don’t…

Would make an amazing “retro experience” air bnb property. Just need to have a spiritual warrior come and escort out the current tenants… Especially the basement.

2 questions is there any safe part of town not crime infested second question may seem silly are there any reports of ghost activity in the house

Poor Earl. I hope he got a good settlement and retired and just enjoyed his home. It’s an interesting looking place. So much character that you never see in homes today.
It’s too bad that St. Louis in general has become such a terrible city to live in.

Attn Vicky: your post insinuated that you might either be the current owner or you have contact with the current owner. We are very interested in this house. We aren’t having much luck as the link through Realtor gets us a call back from their agents who have no further information and I’ve spoken with a realtor in St Louis that Realtor.com put me in touch with but I’ve been waiting for a good while to receive a call back as she had no information either. We really like this house and we aren’t afraid of any “activity”…thank you
