UPDATE: c.1900 WV Fixer Upper Victorian w/Tower Reduced to Under $30K ~ Off Market
4 Wiley Ave, Cameron, WV 26033 $34,900 Reduced to $29,900 Off Market
OHU50K NOTES
Tower, built-ins, natural woodwork, beautiful fireplace mantel and clawfoot tub grace this c.1900 Queen Anne fixer upper in Cameron, West Virginia. At some point they enclosed portions of the wrap-around porch denying outside access to it. Me, I would want to open up at least one portion of the porch, replace the gable windows and get rid of the dropped ceiling.
Cameron is a small city (pop. 946) in the Wheeling Metropolitan Area. After a terrible fire in the early 1900s, the city charged that all buildings in the downtown area must henceforth be constructed of materials other than wood. Cameron Downtown Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. Of special interest is the Curved Building shown below.
