This white, country church, built in 1894, was the Tillery Baptist Church. It sits on 1.5 rural acres. The Rev. Charles Spurgeon Bartholomew served as pastor of the church for 52 years before his passing in July 2020 at the age of 86. He was a busy man, as he also owned four retirement homes and was an avid fisherman. Without the reverend at the helm, I guess the congregation could not sustain the church, so here it is. It could be converted into a truly lovely home.
