Family History
The original owners of the home were J.P. Hammer, Jr. and his wife Minnie. The Hammers had a full house with their three children, Frederic, Elma and Evelyn, J.P.’s sister and niece, and a live-in servant. He supported the clan as a merchant.
The Hammers sold the home to Mr. and Mrs. W,B. Clark around 1915. They lived here until 1948. Mrs. Clark often hosted events in the home for the Ladies Aid Society. She also cared for her mother who died in the home in 1941.

I am not sure what they considered demoed. Looks to me like they ran a broon over the floor to pick up the crumbling ceiling. This house requires alot of work. Priced to high!
