I was excited to see this rare 1976 Land N’ Sea House boat for sale by owner. It sleeps six, is 28′ in length, has a head with shower, and a kitchen. As the name implies, trailer it on land as an RV or use it on water as a houseboat.

As a teenager, my family owned the pre-curser to this, the Combo Cruiser (see below). We had great fun boating over to Watch Hill or Sailor’s Haven on Fire Island, crabbing, docking it over the weekends. The Great South Bay at times, however, could be rough going for this bathtub of a boat. When the seas were too rough, that’s when we would either stay overnight on it at our dock at the Snapper Inn or trailer it over to our driveway for teenage sleepovers.
