History
The Streamline Trailer Company, based in El Monte, California, was established in 1957 by former Airstream designers Harry Lovett and Pat Patterson.
They introduced a line of travel trailers known for their aerodynamic design and lightweight construction, drawing inspiration from aircraft manufacturing techniques. Notable models included the Duchess, Duke, and Empress.
In the 1950s, Silver Streak partners Kenny Neptune and Frank Polido bought fellow partner Pat Patterson out, and Pat went off on his own to produce the “Streamline” trailer.
The company ceased operations in early 1974.
