In the 1920s through the 1940s, this was the home of Ralph Wiley Goss (1896-1967). Ralph was the owner of Goss-Walters Motors co – Pontiac Buick dealership. He lived in the home with his wife Thelma 1900-1981). The couple had no children.  Thelma was a homemaker who had her dessert recipe noted in a 1937 newspaper article. In later years, the Goss family moved to Florida.
