This was the home of Dustin Gilson (1846-1931) for 60 years. He married his wife Anna in 1870 and soon after purchased this house. Mr. Gilson supported his family throughout the decades as an engineer for the Burlington Railroad, alderman and building contractor. The Gilsons lived in the home with their children Minnie, Frank, George and Charles.
