Angus O. Campbell (1860-1944) owned this house. His grandfather came from Scotland, and his father built woolen mills in Sangerville sometime after the Civil War. Angus acted first as bookkeeper and then as general manager of the mills. He lived here with his wife Bertha and son Wade until his death in 1944.

Another Stephen King star. I know it’s an extra expense, but people really need to keep some modicum of heat in these houses, and much of that peeling and damage would be mitigated.
