This sweet brick cape is located in the Wade neighborhood of Detroit. Gotta love the tiled bathroom.

I found a 1954 ad for a similar house on the same street. Apparently, these homes were built with Fenestra steel casement windows, which are still intact in this home today.  Window sills were marble, and the home came with a fireplace, tiled bath and tiled kitchen. We can still see remnants of the tile work in this home’s kitchen, and unlike the ad, this home has a one-car garage.
