c.1875 Fixer Upper in Port Norris, NJ Under $50K
OHU50K NOTES
This c.1875 home is in Port Norris, a quaint oyster and old shipbuilding town near the Maurice River in South Jersey. The house is known as the H. Campbell House, and was most likely originally owned by an oysterman. Many Campbells still live in Port Norris. The house will probably need a new septic system, which can be very costly in New Jersey. I have been to Port Norris several times. A lot of the homes are run down, but even so, there is something about the town that is appealing. Being just 35 minutes away from Jersey Shore beaches is a benefit, too.
