c.1879 Fixer Upper Queen Anne Auction in Urbana Ohio ~ Sold
647 S Main St, Urbana, OH 43078 $39,900 ~ Sold for $54k
OHU50K NOTES
This fixer upper is an auction, but with the low prices of Urbana homes and the amount of work needed, I can’t see this house going too much higher than the $39,900. Can you?
Harry Christie Happersett (1863-1945) and Ellanora Bassett (1861-1947) were married in 1886 and purchased this once beautiful Queen Anne. Harry was a bookkeeper, who had a series of jobs over the decades in a freight company, ice company and for the city’s auditor’s office. Ellanora, known as Nora, was a homemaker. The childless couple lived in this house until their deaths in the 1940s.
