Valley Falls was originally called Grasshopper Falls, from the falls in the Grasshopper River. The first settlement was made there in 1854, and the town was platted in 1855. Many of the town’s streets were named after women pioneer settlers.
Charming 1886 2 story fixer upper. Being sold as is and hoping to sell with the home next door as seller owns both properties. The staircase is steep and missing several balusters. It needs to be replaced by a new staircase that has a ten-inch unit run, and a seven-and-a-half-inch unit rise.
