OHU50K NOTES

My family has a real soft spot for the Delmarva Peninsula, often called the Eastern Shore. It is located just a ferry ride and a leisurely drive from our home in Cape May, and we would often take the trip to get away from it all. We put offers on a couple of homes there, but the dream never materialized.
In my younger years, our featured home today would have been a property to pique the interest of the dreamer in me. Located a 10-minute drive to the quaint fishing of Crisfield on the Chesapeake Bay, this home needs loads of work. Pocket doors, hardwood floors, fireplace mantels and original doors and trim are waiting for that special someone to see their potential. Plus, the property is less than a 45-minute drive to the wild ponies and ocean beaches of Chincoteague.

REALTOR COMMENTS

This old Eastern Shore Victorian needs much work. Hardwood floors, decorative mantels, pocket doors, front and back porches, all add to the charm of the property. Third floor is partially finished. Just over a mile from the county boat ramp at Coulbourne’s Creek and the Tangier Sound. Central air and minisplit systems are installed. Nitrogen removing septic system was installed recently. Large parking area at rear of home. There are weak floors in several areas on the first floor. AS IS.
