Family History

This was the home of James Monroe Cook (1879-1926).  Mr. Cook was the manager of a hardware company. He was also into real estate and farming.  He lived in this home with his wife, Ida Preston Cook (1875-1948), who went by the name Lulu. The couple lived in the home with their children, Monroe, Eugene, Elizabeth and Miriam. He died of pneumonia at home in 1926 at the age of 46.
