Beyond Beautiful Woodwork in This c.1890s Home For Sale in Kansas $120K
OHU50K Notes $120,000
This home for sale in Kansas is where Charles N. Cozad carried his bride over the threshold when they married in 1892. I am sure Edna was please to be the homemaker for this five bedroom, two bath Victorian cottage with beautiful woodwork and hardwood floors that she so lovingly polished. I bet she stocked the butler’s pantry with homemade jams, and relaxed with Charles on the wrap-around porch after a hard day on the farm. On chilly evenings they’d close both sets of pocket doors and warm themselves by the fireplace. In her rocking chair by the stained glass window, Edna might darn socks as prisms of light danced around the bedroom.
