This handyman special is a brick Italianate built in 1891 on Main Street in the small town of Unionville, Missouri. Italianates were most popular from 1840 to 1885. The style’s identifying features include wide eaves with decorative brackets, tall, narrow windows (oftentimes arched) and sometimes a square cupola. Our featured home today has all of the above except the cupola.
