History

Although the realtor states a 1910 build date, we know from the 1898 Sanborn map that the house is earlier. Note the smaller front porch.  Looking further, we see the “Built 1867” marker on the front porch. Although that porch was built sometime after 1910 and before the 1928 Sanborn map, we find a much smaller house in the same location on the 1869 Bird’s Eye map. Perhaps we can assume that the Queen Anne features were later additions to the simple 1867 structure.
