c.1890 Affordable West Virginia Home $59K
OHU50K Notes $59,000
Four bedroom, two bath affordable West Virginia home for sale for $59,000. The home has a metal roof, gingerbread porch, built-ins, old fireplace mantel and a cute, little half-moon window. Love all the exterior millwork. Did you notice the “X” pattern under the eaves? The interior is clean, but bland. It needs life brought back into it as it looked when the Jackson family owned it in the early 1900s.

This affordable West Virginia home was the home of George W. Jackson 91877-1953). He was a salesman for a wholesale grocer. He lived in the home with his wife, Marie, and children, Harold, Ruth and George, Jr. from about 1905 until 1915. By 1920, however, Mr. Jackson had picked up and moved the family to Los Angeles where he purchased the house below, the one he would die in.
