OHU50K NOTES
Here is another case of don’t judge a book by its cover. In the 1920s to 1948, this home was owned by Dr. Francis J. Madden (1870-1948) and his second wife Mary Kennelly Madden. His first wife, Justina Marie Whalen Madden, with whom he had a son, passed in 1919 at the age of 48. Dr. Madden was a medical doctor with a private practice, and according the 1930 US Census, the home was valued at $25,000, quite a tidy sum. In 1940, however, the home was only valued at $13,000.

REALTOR COMMENTS
Great brick home with large room sizes, new double hung windows, and hardwood flooring through much of the home. Original craftsmanship on the stair railing. Would make a great home for owner occupied or investment property. Located close to the Waterfront, Route 837, and Kennywood Park.
