Although I couldn’t find any history of this handyman special, we can tell by the location and curved staircase that this home was built for a family of some means. The property has a prime location overlooking the city of Burlington, and we know that the process to build a curved staircase was very time-consuming and expensive. Sadly, other than the staircase, not much else of 1900 still remains inside the house.

The photo below shows a metal star. You probably have seen these metal stars before on older brick buildings. It is actually the end of an extremely long, threaded rod that runs through the entire building and keeps the building stable.
