Family History

This was the home of George Adam Staudacher (1860-1943). After George’s wife passed away in 1898 at age 34 and their year-old son in 1899, George built this home for himself and daughter Freda. George was a carpenter contractor and a master shipbuilder.  The father and daughter lived in the home until George’s death in 1943.
