I find it difficult to come up with old houses under $50K in Minnesota ~ even a handyman special. Despite the harsh climate, the market is high in the land of 10,000 lakes.

Here is one, however, in a very pleasant neighborhood. It has a few original features, nothing too exciting, but it is cute.

I realize the small front porch had to be enclosed as a weather barrier, but the home must have offered better curb appeal when the porch was open. In lieu of plywood, I would have installed glass, maybe stained glass, and a higher-end front door. The cottage windows are lovely, though.
