Affordable fixer upper Colonial Revival style home with so many great features including hardwood floors, cast iron radiators, lovely staircase and clawfoot tub. It also offer vintage steel kitchen cabinetry.

Good news.

Although the flood map says otherwise, we received word from the seller that flooding is not an issue with this home. The creek behind the property is deep and well channeled and is contained in a culvert under I-64 at the end of the neighborhood. He states that the house has many issues, but flooding is not in the top 10.

Hey – I’m the seller of the house – and definitely not a flood zone. (I’m a civil engineer, too)

There is a creek behind, but it is pretty deep and well channeled. And, the creek is contained in a culvert under I-64, which is right at the end of the neighborhood.

The house has many issues, but flooding is not in the top 10. Would have loved to keep it as a retirement house, but got fantastic job in MA, and had to go.
