OHU50K NOTES. $54,000 Sold For $50,000 on 6/29/22
As the realtor states, this c.1901 fixer upper home must have been stunning in its day. Sadly, it is now in need of a list of repairs. OHU50K featured this home back in December 2019 when it was listed at $42,900, then reduced to $37,500. The current price is $54,000, but curiously the realtor is using the same photos from the 2019 listing.
If you are curious about the name of the town, it is named for a landmark shingled inn located at the original site of the town.

Oh, I love those botanical tiles on the bathroom wall! I’d DEFINITELY want to save those, either to put back in place, or use elsewhere.

What a beauty. It looks like the house has a finished attic – that photo with the angled ceiling. That’s a nice plus. I was quoted anywhere from $6000 to 15,000 to finish my completely unfinished attic. Of course, that included spray insulation and I doubt this house would have insulation.
