In the 1920s to the 1950s, this was the home of Eugene Watson Moutray (1875-1950). Mr. Moutray was an oil man, and he also owned a 600-acre cattle ranch. He lived in this home with his wife Martha Smith Moutray (1878-1966) and their son Waldo. Both Waldo and Eugene passed away from attacks.
