c.1910 Affordable Home in Jamestown, NY Under $40K – Sink with Legs! – Reduced

We are back at Lucy’s hometown in a low-crime section of Jamestown. The house is situated on a pretty brick street of well-kept older homes, and features quite a few original elements that shout, “Be still my heart!” In addition to the coffered dining room ceiling and  plate rail, the natural woodwork, wainscoting, hardwood woods and cast iron radiators speak volumes. What shouts the loudest, though, is the pantry built-in and the kitchen sink! I have to say, however, while I absolutely love the looks of the sink, it is not really functional. My husband salvaged one of these for me from a Wildwood, NJ, knockdown, but when I got it home, the sink was so shallow, it just couldn’t work for my family of nine.
