This is one of those houses that makes me sad. The c.1910 fixer upper looks charming. Broad front porch, starburst windows, front door with sidelights and transom impart such curb appeal. The interior boasts French doors, hardwood floors, large windows with sunlit rooms, and glass-front kitchen cupboards. So what I am sad about? If you take a look at Google Maps, you will see lovely vintage-style lampposts and once beautiful Victorian and antebellum homes on the same side of the street. Look over, however, and unattractive and abandoned structures are directly across the road.
