c.1910 Fixer Upper in Rocky Mount NC Under $40K ~ Original Details ~ Sold
536 Avent St, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 $39,500 ~ Sold
OHU50K NOTES
This c. 1910 fixer really needs some loving. Look at all its original architectural details; high ceilings; hardwood floors; built-ins; mantels; cast iron radiators and clawfoot tub to name a few. I don’t know if those shutters are old, but I sure do love them. And that hutch is up my alley!
The Queen Anne cottage is characterized with projecting gables on the front and sides and was a popular style in the south for middle-class housing.
Although the street is lined with well-kept, small old houses, unfortunately, the neighborhood crime map below is disappointing.

REALTOR COMMENTS
Diamond in the rough. Older fixer upper home near Rocky Mount Mill on need of major repairs and renovation. Shared driveway. A good project for someone.
