OHU50K NOTES
As most of you know, Sundays at OHU50K mean we break out of our under $50K mold to feature homes up to $100K.
Located in the Center Avenue Historic District, this c.1910 American foursquare in Bay City, Michigan, is known as the McIntyre House. I did some research, but the only thing I could come up with is that the name McIntyre is connected to a Bay City lumber mill founded in 1850.
There is so much to love about this house. I hope the old metal porch swing is included!
The McIntyre House in a low-crime neighborhood and is, in fact, just a five-minute walk to a mansion currently up for sale at 1403 5th Street. That house is on the market for $399,000.
