c.1910 Queen Anne Fixer Upper in Rockford IL $50K ~ Sold
326 N Avon St, Rockford, IL 61101 $50,000 ~ Sold for $45k
OHU50K NOTES
You can tell that this house was built with love. The tiled fireplace mantels and unique staircase tell that story.
Constructed in 1910, the Queen Anne Victorian was most likely the home of a professional. By the 1930 US Census, however, few original owners of the turn-of the-century homes on the block still remained. Most residents were renters with factory jobs. Some of the homes had already been broken up into apartments.
Today this beauty is a group home. It needs TLC but retains much of its original character.
