I believe this home is in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood of Saint Louis, MO. Saint Louis has some beautiful architectural gems. Even the homes under the price constraints of OHU50K have appeal. Most of the homes in Saint Louis were built with locally manufactured bricks, and the brick layers knew how to make the most of architectural details, even on the most humble of homes.

Sadly, many of these homes are in high crime neighborhoods. Our featured home has curb appeal, and its section of Greer Avenue has similar inhabited homes. While this section of street is looks good, the blighted streets around it have lots of vacant homes and a slew of empty lots. Just a year or two ago, however, I could find homes in good condition in these neighborhoods for less than $20,000. No more.
