Family History

This home was built for Robert Sabin (1870-1953) in 1912 and the family there there until about 1960. Per Find-A-Grave, “Mr. Sabin came to Salina in 1908 to establish the Salina Poultry Company. At the time of his death he was a partner in the company with his son, John Sabin. He was a member of the Ancient and Accepted Right of the Scottish Right Masons and the First Presbyterian Church.”

He lived in the home with his wife Myrtle (1880-1967), and children John and Norma.
