If you have never been to the Eastern Shore of Virginia, you are missing out. This c.1915 home with water view is located outside of  Onancock, one of my favorite towns on the peninsula. The home has a wonderful view of Deep Creek which goes out to the Chesapeake Bay.

I am confused as to the status of this house. All the major realtors have it as “in stock” as of this morning, yet Coldwell Banker Harbour Realty says, “Accepted contract. Waiting on paperwork!”  The property does have a 10/10 flood risk, so if we have already lost out on the house, perhaps it is a godsend.
