This c.1919 fixer upper is located in a lovely, low crime neighborhood in Centerville, Tennessee. Once the interior is restored, I would take off the vinyl siding. Unlike some, I’m not totally adverse to vinyl siding on old houses, but it has to be done right. The window definition has been lost with this application. I’d make a bet that there are probably imbricated shingles under the gable area, too.
