This c.1922 fixer upper in Cleveland, Ohio, has some gorgeous original features, but sadly, as has the neighborhood, the house has fallen on hard times. It would be a shame to see the French doors, wainscoting, hardwood floors and built-ins slide into further decay.

It tickles me that the bathroom has a French door. My husband salvaged such a one and hung it in our first floor bath right off the kitchen. Talk about no privacy. Finally, I covered the glass panes with decals of breeds of American chickens.
