History
Former hospital for sale. Built in 1922, this is the original Canova Community Hospital (15 rooms, 4.5 bathrooms). After Canova went without a town doctor in 1921 and 1922, the community decided to build this clinic to ensure medical care for its 100 residents. It opened in 1923, but by 1959 was turned into the Rest Haven nursing home. After Rest Haven closed, a large family of seven (and a few friends) lived here until 2012 with an expanded kitchen area, some updated electrical, and functioning plumbing.
