Cottages with two doors have always intrigued me. Ventilation, and separate entrances for living space and bedrooms are a couple of reasons for the two front door design on a small home. I would remove those metal panels under the porch, and install the square lattice (the diamond lattice is a no go for me). The house needs to breathe.

Pine Bluff has a wonderful historic district, but many of the homes are run down, and crime is high.
