Family History
This was the home of Raymond Hubert Loew (1889-1938), a plumbing contractor and owner of a plumbing store. Mr. Lowe married Mary Hardy in 1916 and had two children with her, Doris and Richard. In 1930, however, he was granted a divorce as Mary had deserted the family and her location was unknown for three years. In 1936, Mr. Lowe married Bessie Marion Hardy ( Mary’s sister perhaps), but they were only married a couple of years as Mr. Lowe passed away from cancer in 1938 at the age of 49. He died at home.
