c.1925 Fixer Upper Tavern and Residence For Sale in Wisconsin Under $50K
April 8, 2024
OHU50K Notes $49,900
How about a fixer upper tavern for sale in a tiny village of 93 residents? With its faux front, the tavern looks like it comes out of a Hollywood western where someone had a spelling malfunction.
The former Mason House Pub and the two bedroom living quarters behind is going for $49,900. When we featured this building back in 2021, it was selling for $20,000. The building has a total of 1.5 baths, a good size tavern section, forced air propane gas heat, and city water and sewer. The building is in a small agricultural town with only 93 residents, so we can pretty much figure out why the pub failed.

Realtor Comments
Formerly the Mason House pub, this offers an opportunity to create a residence. The front of the building currently houses the bar and the back has a two bedroom residence with kitchen, living area and bathroom. In need of renovation it’s ready to update however you’d like to configure the space. Set on just under a quarter +/- acre in the heart of downtown Mason. Just off the ATV trails and down the road from great fishing you’re just about fifteen minutes from Ashland and the beaches of Lake Superior.
