For some reason my middle son has talked about buying a cheap home in Trona for a couple of years now, so that Trona has become synonymous in our family with a bad idea. So while browsing Amazon Prime videos a couple of nights ago, we came across the 2005 comedy film Trona, and had to watch it.  If you view the film, you will get a better understanding of why this edge of the earth is so cheap. In Trona’s defense, a community group was attempting to clean up the town, but the 2019 earthquake put a damper on the project.
