Outdoor activities are endless, including fishing, bird-moose-deer-bear hunting, foraging, swimming, cookouts, fire pit gatherings, sledding or hiking to the fire tower at the top of the Mountain- check out the expansive views and Mt. Katahdin to the West. While trekking to the top, notice all the Moose scrapings on saplings which can indicate the amount of snow pack from the previous winter season. There is the added allure of dark night skies perfect for viewing the Aurora Borealis or galaxies beyond. Canoe in the Allagash region or on many of the surrounding lakes and ponds. Trolling boat located at Round Mountain Pond which conveys with canoe.
