OHU50K NOTES

This brick fixer upper was built in 1890 according to the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the North Hill Historic District of New Castle, a residential neighborhood consisting of 91 blocks over 450 acres. The 1888 commercial and residential structures represent the late 19th and early 20th century architectural styles including Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Neoclassical, American Foursquare, Craftsman and eclectic mixed styles.

I love this brick, hipped roof 2 1/2-story house, but why oh why did they paint the woodwork? Even the pocket doors! The cheap flooring has to torn up, also, to reveal the original hardwoods.

Thanks to Alberto for this great submission.
