Palliser History
Brothers George and Charles Palliser emigrated from England in the 1860s started what George claimed to be the very first mail-order architectural business. Their designs provided the working-class with sophisticated home designs without paying for an architect. The brothers produced more than a dozen 25 cent mail-order catalogues between 1876 and 1908 with low to medium priced homes for the masses.
